Juji Gatami : The Ultimate Study
Juji Gatame is one of my newaza tokui waza and one that I spent years breaking down, studying, rebuilding and then perfecting. It was all worth it as it was the technique that won me the World Championship title in 1981.
I've spent many years around the world teaching my Juji Gatami, even in Japan where they wanted to see it first hand. In China, I was center stage at their National Conference where I was asked by each of the National Team members if I would demonstrate on them just so they could feel it.
It is a show stopper and one that makes people hold their breath in anticipation.
